Happy New Year celebrations

A small article on the end of year holidays

Christmas is a special moment awaited by many people around the world. This is above all a time of sharing, a family reunion. This moment of happiness is very important to me because we are in a period where we forget the problems of everyday life. The family dinner, opening presents are unforgettable moments for me as only happiness and good humor are present.

Then it's time to celebrate the New Year. That moment represents for me a festive moment between friends to leave a year and begin another. There are memories of the year that appear, the good and the bad. At midnight, it is time to say goodbye to the year that has passed so quickly.

This is the vision I have the last two weeks of the year.

A little dedication to my friends of "petanque"

Today I will make a rather special article.

Maxence and Jonathan my friends are engaged in a very original project which I find very interesting. "Pétanque" is very practiced in France and more and more young people take part in this activity.
Being from the south of France, I can only fan of the petanque because in this part of France "petanque" is in the culture. In addition, the opportunity to drink something while playing petanque in the summer and winter is a great idea.

In conclusion I encourage and wish them get to create their petanque bar where I would go of course.

Good luck my friends and go to a few years at the Espace Petanque

I finish this article with a little part of french : "Vive la France et vive la Pétanque !!! ;)"

A very emotional moment

This Nov. 18, 2015 will remain an unforgettable moment for all sports fans. Indeed, a few days after the terrible tragedy of Paris, a football match is programmed in England in Wembley Stadium. This match opposes England and France. Of course, the atmosphere around this game was very special. The English had also decided to mark the occasion. For this, the French national anthem was sung by all the stadium, players of two teams observed a minute of silence together around the center circle. The arch of Wembley stayed blue, white and red all match.

The match in itself had very little success and the English won 2 goals to 0. The next day in the English press, the match score appeared as anecdotal and that is solidarity and the emotion of this big sports moment who are the winners.

In conclusion, we watched a great moment in sports history and history in general because sport was only secondary that night.

Zone line technology

As I've told you, here is the progress of our micro project.

I remind you that the team consists of my friends Jérémy CAVARD, Simon Malgat Victor Malgat.

First of all, I will remember the concept. It is providing assistance to handball referees through technology. We called it the zone line technology. So we will install sensors on the 6 meter zone (goalkeeper area). Players will be equipped chip in shoes. Referees will possess watches. All these elements are interconnected. When a player walk on the 6 meter zone which is totally banned in handball, the referee receives a signal on his watch which will allow it to whistle the fault.
Indeed, the fault are very present in this sport and the referees do not see all the time because the game is very fast today.

The progress of the project will follow on the blog.

A worldwide mobilization

Following the disaster of Paris, many persons involved in sport mobilized themselves around the world. Everyone wanted to pay a tribute to France.

The first support came from Italy. A second division championship game started the match with a minute of silence followed by the national anthem of France. A player from the same league also pulled out a French flag after a goal he scored.

In the US, the NHL National Hockey League) has also set the colors of France. The rink of Montreal was blue, white and red. The process was the same with a minute of silence and the national anthem of France. England and London also participated in the tribute. We could see the colors of France on the arch of Wembley Stadium. The Tennis Masters which takes place within the O2 arena also observed a minute of silence and there are the french colours.

Other movements have occurred. For example, Toulouse rugby players who were playing an European Cup match against Saracens in England have called for there to be the French national anthem that is played before the game.In the USA, there was also a minute of silence and the French national anthem in Los Angeles before a NBA game.

Finally, many others cities around the world (Sydney, Mexico City, Berlin ...) also posted the colors blue, white and red on important monuments.

The whole world has mobilized to acts that should not exist. A big thought for all the victims of this tragedy against humanity.

An experience in Ireland

Here I will talk about some experiences I've had in English.

I had the opportunity to go on vacation in Ireland because my uncle had a bed and breakfast in Connemara. I went several times in this country and to be understood you must speak English a little. Indeed, for simple things like buying bread or order a beer in a pub must be understood.

The Connemara is a peaceful place of Irish west with few people. I loved the tranquility. One sometimes has the impression that time has stopped, to be in another world. The Connemara is a peaceful place of Irish west with few people. I loved the tranquility. One sometimes has the impression that time has stopped, to be in another world. There are many lakes. They are all more beautiful than the others. I love nature and I could also see extraordinary and amazing landscapes.

During these holidays, I was also able to travel to several pubs to watch football matches or rugby. Irish rugby fans are many and they watch games. They also love watching football and especially the English league matches.

I could also visit some cities like Galway that is a great Irish city. I also traveled to Dublin, capital of Ireland.

One tradition in Ireland is beer called Guinness. This beer is unique and world famous. I could therefore discover this typical drink in an Irish pub on the Irish west coast. Precisely, pubs, typical Irish bars, have a totally different atmosphere compared to the bars in France. The word that comes to describe this is: calm. The Irish are calm people, who are very welcoming and open-minded.

So much for this experience in Ireland which I think is interesting to have a quick overview of what the west coast of the country.

Micro project

First, it is important to define what is micro project. Secondly, I will talk about the concept that we want to develop.

For this year, we have instructed to carry out a micro project. We are a team of 2, 3 or 4 people. The concept is simple, we choose a project at the beginning of the year and we make it the most advanced at the end of the year. Indeed, in a first step is to realize a market study from which we'll be estimated a budget. The market research helps to know if there is a real need for consumers.

After this quick presentation of what is a micro project, I'll talk about this. First, we are a team of 4 persones. There Jérémy CAVARD, Simon and Victor MALGAT and me. Initially, we wanted to create a company that offers big companies a service. This service is to create within the company a sports equipement to allow employees to relax.

So, after meetings with professionals, the project seemed complicated to realize. So we chose our second starting idea. This is a dispositive assistance handball arbitration. Today, technology is very present to help referees. In handball, missing just something to help for a particular fault. This is the "zone" in attack. Only the goalkeeper is allowed to have his feet there with the ball in his hands. As the game goes very fast today and that referees have a lot to look at, it is very difficult to see if the player steps on the 6-meter line or not. In addition, players are delaying shot once in the air and often they fall and hit the ground before he let go of the ball. Again, it is difficult to judge for the referee if there is fault or not. Our concept is to develop sensors on the "zone" and cells in the shoes of the players. When there is fault, the referee receives a signal on his watch and can report the fault.

In conclusion, we hope to bring a real plus with this new concept.

The progress of the project will follow on the blog.
